Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Butterfly Brooch Southwestern Natural Matrix

Handcrafted vintage sterling silver butterfly brooch featuring three bezel-set natural turquoise cabochons and detailed hand-stamped wing designs. This Southwestern piece is fabricated from hand-cut sheet silver with applied wire antennae and traditional floral and sunburst stampwork.

The turquoise stones display attractive blue-green coloration with natural brown and golden matrix veining, characteristic of genuine turquoise formed within host rock. Each stone is uniquely patterned and securely set in smooth bezels at the body and upper wings.

A soft oxidized patina has developed over time, enhancing the recessed stampwork and dimensional texture of the wings. This natural patina highlights the handcrafted nature of the piece and should not be mistaken for damage or wear.

Unsigned, as is common with artisan-made Native American and trading post jewelry from the mid 20th century. Fitted with a C hook clasp.
